Junior Doctors Strike

With the Junior Doctors strike planned to start from tomorrow (14 June 2023) which will last until Friday 15 June 2023, we are expecting an increase in demand via our telephone lines and we will have less capacity in our appointment system than usual.

If your need is not urgent, there are a number of alternative options below:

• You can use the 111 online service which will guide you to the most appropriate service for your medical problem.
• Local pharmacies can help with a number of common ailments, such as UTI’s in females, conjunctivitis and earaches.
• You can also send in your non-urgent queries via our e-consult service via our website, this includes any requests for FIT notes.

Patients are advised that they should only be calling 999 if the situation is life threatening medical or mental health emergency.
