Changes to our Appointments from 16th March 2020 until further notice

Due to the rapidly changing COVID-19 (Coronavirus pandemic), we are following national guidance and changing the way we operate until further notice.

Any patient with a high temperature OR a new continuous cough DO NOT come to the practice , a pharmacy or hospital.  You need to stay at home for 7 days.

You do not need to contact 111 to tell them you are staying at home.

No testing will occur here, so PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE  SURGERY if you think you are affected as this puts you, our other patients and our staff at risk.

From Monday 16th March ALL unwell patients who ring for an appointment will be given a telephone appointment with a clinician and if a face to face appointment is deemed necessary you will be seen at the practice in a safe way.

DO NOT JUST TURN UP IF YOU FEEL UNWELL – WE WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE AND RING AND MAKE A TELEPHONE APPOINTMENT.

Some non- NHS work may not be processed at this time for example some insurance forms, PIP appeals, private medicals , copies of medical records ,Travel clinic, minor surgery, joint injections. Our ultimate aim is to keep patients safe and to do this we must change the way we deal with non NHS work.

We do have other ways in which to help manage your health conditions such as e-consult on our website

www.marsdenhc.nhs.uk

If you can manage your problem in this way then please do so: this would be a huge help to us in managing demand and keeping you safe.

Thanks very much for your cooperation and understanding during this very challenging time.
